Community Supported Agriculture. Share in our harvest each week! By purchasing a CSA you are investing in the success of Little Roots Farm and allowing us to serve the community with more mountain grown produce throughout our season. Each week the contents will be chosen by us, the farmers, depending on what is looking best in the field.

Truckee Certified Farmers market. 8 am - 1 pm. Truckee Regional Park. TUESDAYS.

 

Truckee Saturday Farmers Market. 8 am - 12 pm. Railyard Parking Lot Historic Downtown Truckee. SATURDAYS.

What’s in my CSA Box?

Weekly combination of Bagged Greens: Salad Mixes, Arugula, Kale, Spinach, + Microgreens + Bunched Roots: Carrots, Radish, Turnips + Sugar Snap Peas + Mushrooms: Shiitake, Blue Oyster, Black Oyster, Yellow Oyster + Edible Flowers.

$43/week Pay $946 total

 

Regular farm box 5 - 8 items
$28/week Pay $616 total

We understand it can be challenging to pay up front. Please inquire about payment installments.

Faq

​

What if I'm going out of town or just can't make it to pick up?

1. Have a friend pick up your box.

2. If you will be around on the other pick up day, let us know in advance that you would like to change your pick up location for a specific week.

3. All unclaimed boxes will be donated to Sierra Community House after 1 pm on your pick up day.

Am I saving money by signing up for a CSA vs. shopping at the Farmers Market?

Yes! Most CSA contents are priced at below farmers market prices and we always add more items in when we have an abundance on the farm.

Are Biweekly CSA boxes available?

​

We do not offer a biweekly  CSA. We encourage those interested in a smaller CSA box to find a neighbor, friend or family member to share with i.e. rotating weeks or splitting up boxes.
